GENERAL CARE
Ensure that you do not expose your jewellery to chemicals, perfumes or rough conditions as these can damage stones and metal.
Do not wear jewellery when in the swimming pool, steam room or while bathing or showering. Chlorine, detergents, oils & perfumes can all cause tarnishing or damage to the metals and any organic stones/materials.
Surfaces and treatments may fade or change over time as you and the jewellery share a life together.

STORAGE
When your pieces are not being worn, always store them away so they are free from dust and dirt and any airbornes. This will help avoid accelerated tarnishing.

STERLING SILVER
The sterling silver alloy will naturally blacken over time with exposure to air. This can be removed by cleaning with a polishing cloth or gently with water and a soft toothbrush.

OXIDISED STERLING SILVER
Oxidised Sterling Silver is a surface treatment that gives a grey/black finish however in no way does it change the metal’s internal characteristics.
As with most surface treatments, the matte black surface finish will wear off over time so it is recommended to avoid cleaning the surface of any oxidised piece particularly with any jewellery cleaners as this is a sure fire way to strip the colour right back.

GOLD PLATED
Gold plated pieces are solid sterling silver with gold plating. Over time, the gold does wear down away. To ensure the longevity of the pieces please avoid exposure to chemicals such as perfume, makeup and oils.

GEMS
It is important to understand that gemstones can be fragile. Even diamonds, sapphires and rubies can be chipped and fractured if they are impacted. Please remove your jewellery if there is a risk of this occurring. It is wise to check all settings regularly as metal wears over time and pieces will need to have their settings tightened or replaced.
